Living rooms

The ground floor of Santo Stefano has three large living rooms, one of which is currently used as a dining room. All three of these rooms have open fireplaces, and doors to the rear terrace.

The terracotta floors and beamed ceilings provide a feeling of warmth, and two of the sitting rooms have exposed stone walls - one of which forms an archway between separate sections of the room.

Kitchens

Santo Stefano has two kitchens - one with a worktop height open fireplace. This is not only a lovely welcoming space in the colder winter months, but it can also be used for cooking Italian style over burning logs. A table for six can easily be accommodated in this kitchen.

The second kitchen is larger, with a central island, and both are well fitted with units and have oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge..

Other rooms

A small library is accessible from the large drawing room or the main hallway, and is well equipped with bookcases covering one wall.

The chiesa (chapel) is accessed separately from outside the house, but it shares an internal wall with the library, so a connecting door could easily be added. When the property was converted, provision was made for a chimney so that a fireplace could subsequently be created here.
