The gardens

La Chiesa di Santo Stefano is set in 5 acres of grounds, which comprises an orchard with apricots, plums, cherries, figs, etc and a number of very productive olive trees from which we make our own olive oil each year.

The grounds closest to the house are a mixture of lawns and mature garden, and extensive terraced areas at the rear of the house and above the swimming pool provide perfect spots for al fresco dining and entertaining.

The swimming Pool

The irregular shaped pool nestles perfectly into the landscape, and offers a haven of peace with plenty of space for sun loungers and tables. The depth varies between 1.2 and 1.8 metres.

The pool is surrounded by mature trees and tropical planting, with wonderful glimpses through the trees of the glorious surrounding countryside.

Golf course

Five golf holes have been constructed in the grounds of Santo Stefano, offering an excellent practice facility for the keen golfer, or hours of fun for the less serious. The bunkers and the lake add an extra dimension to the difficulty!

A full irrigation system is in place, which can be operated automatically and is fed from the lake.
