Panoramic views

La Chiesa di Santo Stefano is situated in the heart of the glorious Le Marche countryside, with stunning panoramic views across open countryside - from the sea in the north east, to the magnificent Sibillini mountain range in the south.

The nearby wooded hills of San Lorenzo to the west provide some excellent opportunities for walking, with views over the whole of the Le Marche region.

Shopping

The closest town is the historic medieval hill town of Treia. This beautifully preserved town, completely surrounded by its old walls, is less than 6 kilometres from the villa.

The area is well served with good supermarkets, and for clothes, the nearby town of Macerata is excellent. Of course, Le Marche is know for its shoes and handbags, and designer outlets abound - including Prada, Tod's and Armani.

Things to do

Whether you are a lover of fine art, history or delicious food and wine, there is plenty to excite in Le Marche. Add to that the unspoilt beaches of the Adriatic coast, the beautiful mountain ranges with fields crammed with wild flowers, and the opportunities to explore become endless.

And as Santo Stefano is situated in the heart of Italy, famous sites and cities such as Assisi, Rome and Florence are easily accessible.
