La Chiesa di Santo Stefano offers a dream romantic wedding venue in the heart of rural Italy, with its own chapel for atmospheric civil weddings, large terraces and beautiful grounds.

At Santo Stefano, the wedding of your dreams can be held in the villa’s own beautiful small chapel (deconsecrated), and a typical Italian wedding reception - complete with at least five or six courses - can be hosted on one of the terraces, surrounded by panoramic views of this glorious part of Italy.

The chapel holds up to 50 guests and has a very special feeling of peace which will provide all the atmosphere you need for your special day.  In this lovely location the chapel, grounds and villa are available exclusively for the wedding party.  For larger groups, the town hall in the centre of the delightful small town of Treia provides a stunning backdrop to your wedding, and guests can return to Santo Stefano for the reception and to dance the night away.

In Italy, weddings are sumptuous affairs, and a delicious reception meal is generally held around the grounds - canapés and prosecco in the formal garden, antipasti on the pool terrace and around the gardens, with the main dinner courses in a more formal setting on the large rear terrace. But of course, simpler affairs are also possible. And for a smaller party a luxury dinner can be held in the villa – either at a single long formal table, or as a buffet with guest free to mingle in the drawing rooms.

The bride and groom and up to 14 additional guests can also be accommodated for the week of the wedding, and we can arrange accommodation for additional guests at local hotels.
